21st Century Town Hall Meeting

More than 150 women were at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday for the Football Federation Victoria (FFV) Women in Football Network 21st Century Town Hall Meeting.

The Minister for Women and Minister for Prevention of Family Violence, Hon. Fiona Richardson, invited FFV to host the Town Hall Meeting as part of a 16-day program of community events promoting awareness between International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and International Human Rights Day.

The event featured representatives of females across the game of football and the wider sporting community and addressed the imbalance of women in leadership positions.
