Wheelchair Football provides people with physical and multiple disabilities the opportunity to compete in a team sport, and is open to anyone who uses a wheelchair – electric or manual, independently or assisted. Players are able to have support on court if needed to push their chair, and can use their feet to kick the ball or their chair to propel the ball forward.
The competition is always looking for new players and volunteers and it’s a great opportunity for people with a disability to develop football skills, meet new people, and have a lot of fun!
For more information regarding playing, refereeing or volunteering with Wheelchair Football please contact Megan Smith, All Abilities Project Coordinator on (firstname.lastname@example.org or 9474 1805).
