About the Volunteer Recognition Program

Volunteers are the glue that holds together every football club in Victoria. They dedicate hours of time and energy every year, working in a variety of ways and completing many necessary tasks. Without the dedication of these volunteers Football Clubs as we know them would not exist.

With this in mind it’s vital that these volunteers are recognised. By recognising volunteers it helps to retain them which in turn:           

• Improves the quality of service to participants of football clubs
• Reduces turnover of volunteers
• Creates a better environment for all players, parents and volunteers at your football club

Football Federation Australia (FFA) in conjunction with Football Federation Victoria (FFV) and with the support of the Victorian State Government have created a Volunteer Recognition Program (VRP). The VRP aims to provide clubs with resources and information to support their volunteers.

To do this we have created a Volunteer Database that we want all clubs and volunteers to be part of. We are asking clubs to register their volunteers onto the free Volunteer Register by clicking here.
(Please note when logging in your Club Id and Password are the same and this is your 4 or 5 digit Club ID found in SportNet. You can change your password once you have logged in.)
