Football Federation of Victoria is actively seeking THIRDS teams for the 2008 season. The thirds competition is a one team - no reserves needed. Basically its a competition for senior men who do not play in our regular Saturday leagues. The level is varied as we have team who join just to keep playing and other teams as back-up for their Saturday teams. We have had unprecedented interest in this level of competition and have filled all of our leagues from last year and created an extra competition to cater for new teams. We currently have a small amount of teams eager to participate in the thirds level competition and are looking for several more to create a new league in which these teams can compete. We started in 2006 with just two teams. That year our Under 12's won a championship in their level.
In 2007 we added another junior team. In that year our Under 13's defied all odds and came out on top putting them back to back champions and our Under 11's picked up runners up in their age group.
This year 2008 Greenvale United Soccer Club has expaned enormously with 6 junior teams and 1 Men's team.
Currently our club is seeking players for itsThird's Men team. This is our first year we take on a mens team. We need a few more players to complete our squad.

The Football Club Clifton Hill has undergone a huge expansion in 2008 and is fielding a much larger number of Junior Soccer Teams in 2008.
