About the Course
This course offers opportunities for graduates in areas of sports management, sports administration, event management, facility management, fitness,coaching and many other areas of the Sport and Recreation Industry.
Core curriculum involves literacy, numeracy, personal development, career planning and preparation for work.

Students have the opportunity to work with FFV staff and will have access to quality training facilities at local football venues and the Darebin International Sports Centre.
All participants will be provided with a FFV Sports Development Program Uniform.
Eligibility
The Sports Development Program is specifically designed for young people who would like to pursue a career in the sport and recreation industry.
The program will engage young people through real life learning via an integrated curriculum linked to industry.
The program is open to both males and females aged 16 -19 and students will be selected via application and interview.
Selection is not dependent of football ability.

The Melbourne School of Sport & Recreation Management (MSSRM) provides high quality professional training, sports management consultancy and career management services designed to benefit the Sport & Recreation Industry at every level. Based at the Sports House the MSSRM specialises in a range of Sport & Recreation services.

The Sports Development Program will be based at several venues across Metropolitan Melbourne.
