Female Football Festival A Success At Brimbank

FFV Initiatives To Increase Female Participation On Show

Football Federation Victoria was proud to support the Brimbank Female Football Festival held at Keilor Park on Sunday March 4, 2018.

The event was an opportunity for all clubs to increase female participation at all levels of the game and support sport clubs and the community in developing ongoing sustainable female participation opportunities.

Activities included ALDI MiniRoos kick-off for girls and boys age 4-9, Female only MiniRoos coaching courses and a Melbourne City FC "City Girls" clinic for girls 10-15.

The Hon. Ben Carroll MP and Cr. Margarget Giudice officially open the female-friendly changerooms at Keilor Park

The events coincided with Calder United's day of NPLW Victoria action against Southern United in all grades.

State Member for Niddrie, the Hon. Ben Carroll MP and Brimbank Mayor, Cr Margarget Giudice attended the event to officially unveil new female friendly changerooms at Keilor Park.
