Fifth Year of Fee Freeze

Play Football in 2018 at 2013 Prices!

Football Federation Victoria has frozen registration fees for another year as its 2018 fee schedule was announced this week.

In line with recent initiatives to increase female participation to 50/50 female to male by 2023, Girls ALDI MiniRoos teams will continue to carry no team entry fee in 2018.

FFV remains committed to making football accessible to all and increasing participation, particularly for women and girls and multicultural communities at all levels of the sport.

Football's popularity continues to rise, with the latest AusPlay survey finding 1,152,144 men, women, boys and girls are participating in football.

Quotes Attributable to FFV President Kimon Taliadoros

"FFV is thrilled to be making football more affordable for our players and Clubs by freezing fees for a fifth straight year.

"To have no team entry fee for Girls MiniRoos means any of our 330 Victorian Clubs that do not have a team entered should take the steps now to start a female program and become a positive part of the women's and girls' football movement.

"The legacy of FFV's Women in Football Forum - Matildas Growing Grassroots is our commitment to achieving 50/50 participation between men and women by 2023.

"The freeze on player and team entry fees will mean our Victorian Clubs without a female program can start one in 2018. A critical part of growing the game is ensuring women and girls have the same opportunity as men and boys to play."
