Football Federation Victoria Announces CEO Resignation
CEO Maxwell Gratton To Leave FFV
The Board of Football Federation Victoria (FFV) today announced the resignation of CEO Maxwell Gratton, effective at the end of the FFV’s financial year, 31 October 2017.
FFV President Kimon Taliadoros said he was sorry to see Maxwell leave FFV.
“He has been a change agent for our organisation and delivered on three important areas; transition to a ‘club centric’ organisation with better communication and engagement, a framework for the development of quality facilities and a focus on organisational excellence.
“In a short time, Maxwell has ushered in a significant shift within the FFV culture.
“He has laid the groundwork needed to guide the next CEO and our recently re-structured, high calibre, executive team will continue to lead us in the right direction.
“We are committed to continuing the great progress we are making to ensure the success of the beautiful game”, Taliadoros said.
Taliadoros said Gratton resigned for personal reasons, primarily driven by his desire to pursue other interests and entrepreneurial opportunities.
An interim CEO will be appointed at the next Board meeting and the FFV Board will commence a search to fill the role in the coming months.
