Football Federation Victoria extends partnership with the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation
FFV continues to separate gambling from their game
Football Federation Victoria has extended its partnership with the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation’s (VRGF) Love the Game sporting club program in 2018 to reach more clubs.
FFV includes more than 360 clubs and local associations and the ongoing partnership will help to create safe and healthy club environments and minimise young people’s exposure to gambling advertising.
FFV and the VRGF play an important role on the ground connecting community clubs to educators who can make a real difference to community attitudes through education and information.
In 2017 FFV, the VRGF and Gambler’s Help community educators were able to deliver information sessions to FFV Clubs, culminating in 12 signed clubs hosting a Love the Game themed rounds.
With an agreed target of 10 clubs to host Gamblers Help community educators in 2018, FFV will continue to implore its clubs to take the initiative on issues of community importance.
