Pelada Cup Semi-Final Preview
Catch two exciting matches this Sunday with the Pelada Cup double header...
The Pelada Cup, Victoria’s state-wide knockout competition for women, has reached the semi-final stage for 2012 with three Women’s Premier League teams and one State League One team remaining.
With the WPL having no matches this weekend, the two semi-finals will be held as a double header at Western Suburbs’ ground, Ralph Reserve in Sunshine West. Bundoora United v Altona City will kick-off first at 11am followed by Box Hill United and Heidelberg United at 2:30pm with free entry for all.
All four teams will be competing for a place in the Pelada Cup Final to be held at Lakeside Stadium on Saturday 18 August, 3pm.

After wrapping up the Women’s Premier League Minor Premiership on the weekend, Box Hill United will be hoping to keep alive their chances of claiming a triple crown when they take on league rivals Heidelberg United.
Box Hill remains undefeated in all competitions this season with 15 wins from their 18 matches but Heidelberg have come as close as anyone with two draws in their league meeting so far.
With Box Hill having claimed one title, Heidelberg will be hungry to try to make this one theirs.
