2017 GDT review

Dear football fan,

Each year the FFV Legal & Regulatory team reviews FFV’s GDT for potential improvements.

We invite you to provide feedback to us on the proposed GDT changes, as well as any other GDT matters you wish to discuss.

A marked-up draft 2017 GDT is attached here.

A summary of the 2016 GDT and Tribunal is attached here.

Please provide any edits, questions or feedback to FFV by Friday 9 December 2016 to discipline@ffv.org.au . All feedback will be considered as part of FFV finalising the GDT for 2017.

Call for new tribunal members:

As part of our continual improvement, FFV is keen to ensure that the pool of tribunal members represents the best interests of FFV stakeholders.

Feedback received is that the tribunal should be expanded to include experienced club administrators and ex-players and ex-referees, not just lawyers, in order to provide the current legal members of the tribunal with insights from people experienced in football.

FFV invites Clubs to recommend or nominate to us individuals for consideration to join the pool of tribunal members.

Yours faithfully,

Richard Redman
GM, Legal & Regulatory
