National Team Coaches impressed with Victorian Talent at National Training Camp

Knox Regional Football Centre hosts a successful NTC

Victoria's junior football talent was on display at the National Training Camp for two age group U17 Joeys and U20 Young Socceroos at Knox Regional Football Centre during April 9-11. The playing contingent involved 2002/03 (u17), 1999/2001(U20) born players from FFV NPL Clubs, as well as Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City.

The National Team coaching staff at the camp included:

U17's

  • Head Coach: Trevor Morgan
  • Assistant Coach: Michael McBride

U20's

  • Head Coach: Ufuk Talay
  • Assistant Coach: Carl Veart

The FFV Coaching staff included:

  • Boris Seroshtan-  FFV Technical Director
  • Andrew Kentepozidis – FFV Talent Development Manager Boys
  • Dean Sacchetta –  FFV Skill Acquisition Head Coach
  • Richardo Marchioli – FFV U16 TIDC Head Coach
  • Robert Graskoski – FFV TIDC GK Coach

The aim of the camp was to broaden the talent pool and establish Joey's Principles so the players can learn the Young Socceroos style of play, as well as coordinating with Member Federation coaches Player Individual Development Programs for 2018-19.

The coaches were impressed with the quality, dedication and professionalism of the Victorian players.
