Football Federation Victoria (FFV) is delighted to announce the launch of the new FFV website!
FFV has produced a website that significantly benefits its clubs and other key stakeholders by providing an easy-to-use site, with greater access and more up-to-date, prominent and diverse information. It presents Victorian football in a way that is accessible to everyone – from Mums and Dads, to senior players, and the kids who line up each week with their friends to have a kick.
FFV is committed to showcasing Victorian football as the enjoyable, innovative and ever developing sport that it is. The website provides a greater opportunity to cover all aspects of football in Victoria and promote it in a variety of different formats.
Exciting new features on the website includes the FFV TV section which contains highlights and interviews from FFV clubs, teams and matches at all levels and age groups. In addition, it will feature weekly highlights packages from Channel 31’s famous Victorian Football Show.
The new site has the capacity to promote interactivity between FFV and the public, including the Solo Goal of the Week Competition where football followers will be invited to upload footage of the week’s top goals to YouTube. Solo is also offering a weekly prize of $100 to the person judged to have sent in the best goal and with entries to feature on FFV TV. At the end of the year, the Solo Goal of the Year will be selected from the weekly winners list, with the winner receiving four tickets to next year’s Socceroos game at the MCG in May in the lead up to the World Cup.
Another significant change is that the Victorian Premier League has its own dedicated site, which contains VPL specific content, including its own news and video section as well as links to websites of each of the 12 VPL Clubs.
A Government section has been added to the site, which follows FFV’s employment of a Government Relationship Manager. This will reinforce the work being conducted by FFV in conjunction with key government stakeholders and the management of football facilities throughout Victoria.
Another wonderful feature is the interactive score and premiership table function on the home page which enables quick access to all FFV match results and ladders. Also featured on the home page is a world football news section, which shows news highlights from Fox Sports providing the Victorian football community a one stop shop for all their football news.
FFV hopes you enjoy the website and looks forward to bringing you new and exciting content to quench your football thirst!
