What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is an easy way of keeping track of new content on your favourite websites. It's basically like a News Ticker; displaying the latest headlines.
How does it work?
When we add news stories to our site our RSS news feed is updated. If you subscribe to our RSS feed, you will be automatically notified when news stories are posted. RSS is becoming very popular and all the major news websites have it; so you can recieve updates from CNN, The Age, The New York Times and FFV all at the same time.
How do I use RSS?
In order to access RSS feeds you will need an RSS Feed reader or aggregator. Some web browers such as FireFox have inbuilt RSS features, or you can use a stand alone aggregator instead. Some common ones are BottomFeeder and Pluck.
Once you have installed a feed reader, subscribe to http://www.footballfedvic.com.au/index.rss and you will receive all the latest FFV news on your desktop.
If you run a website, you are encouraged to syndicate our feed as well.
