Who is the main target market for Soccer Mums?
Soccer Mums is a program designed specifically for less active mothers (particularly those with children school aged or younger) to increase their physical activity.
I have never played soccer before, will this impact my involvement in Soccer Mums?
#NoExperienceRequired is a key aspect to this program as every practice can be adapted by the Deliverer to suit the participants on the day.
Is there a cost involved to participate?
Each Session is valued at $10 per participant. There will be discounts advertised for different programs, so keep an eye out for these promotions.
When will the programs take place?
Soccer Mums is a flexible program. Host Clubs / Venues can nominate a time, location and dates to coincide with expressions of interest and participant availability. There are no restrictions, i.e. weekdays or weekends at any time of the day.
Sessions are likely to take place on training nights at their club, drop your son or daughter at their training and then participate in your own soccer session and be finished before your child to take them home.
How long are the sessions?
Each Soccer Mums session will go for approximately 30 to 45 minutes, this will depend on the participants, venue availability and the length of the children's training session.
How long is a program?
Programs will vary from 4-8 weeks depending on venue availability.
My children do not play soccer at a club, can I still participate?
Yes, you do not have to be associated with a club to participate in a program. Not all programs will be delivered at clubs, but if you complete the Expression of Interest, you will be able to find a venue near you!
