Victoria Powerchair Team Competes At Nationals
FFV Proud To Support State Powerchair Team
Football Federation Victoria was proud to support the state Powerchair Football team that recently competed at the Australian Powerchair National Football Championship.
Powerchair Football is a modified version of Soccer where players use their electric wheelchair to push and ‘spin-kick’ a 330mm Football.
During the Winter Season, a squad of players are selected to represent Victoria at the Australian Powerchair Football Association (APFA) event in Sydney.
The first Australian Powerchair Football National Championship was held in Sydney in 2011 following an international development event in Sydney. The following year the event became a stand-alone competition and has been held at Kevin Betts Stadium and Sydney’s west from 2012.
A team of up to 8 players are selected from our Winter Season to represent Victoria at the Nationals.

FFV supported the team by providing an FFV State Team playing strip for all players.
