Melbourne Victory player Gulcan Koca and Melbourne City first year player Monique Iannella have been named as the official ambassadors for Girls FC in 2016.
Girls FC is a social 7-a-side tournament offering players with the opportunity to play with their friends, where the emphasis is on fun, fitness and participation.
Girls FC will be held at the State Football Centre, Darebin for girls aged between 10 and 18 on April 2-3.
Register your team before 9am Monday March 7 and you enter the draw to win a clinic from one of the W-League players at your club.
Turkish International and Victory midfielder Gulcan Koca has been a tremendous supporter of Girls FC and is privileged to be named an ambassador for the third straight year.
"It's an absolute honour to be involved with this fantastic day again," Koca said.
"Girls FC is such a good way to get girls excited for the season ahead, as well as introduce girls to football who might not have played the game before.
"I'm very excited to be an ambassador and can't wait to get out there and help encourage the next generation of future Victory W-League players."
Girls FC is the perfect way to kick start the season, prepare for the year ahead and give your team a great opportunity to socialise and bond.
Melbourne City player Monique Iannella is excited to get on board with Girls FC for the first time.
“There’s no better way to get yourself ready for the year ahead than having a ball at your feet and having fun along the way,” Iannella said.
"It is a great tournament that involves young girls from all over the state and showcases the great talent that is on offer in such a positive environment”.
Register before Monday March 7 to enter the draw to win a clinic from the players.
Final registrations close Friday March 11.
